HI we have a Fiamma F45 I . Roll Out Awning.3.5 mt Wide
Good lady has said she wants a Privacy room to add onto our new MoHO
We Are looking at. a Fiamma Zip Awning .Secondhand but Is the right size. Ish
Does anyone know whether this ZIP awning would fit our 45i roll out .
Thanks

I believe that your fitted awning has to be a Zip one to accept a Zip privacy room as they actually zip together.
You need a normal privacy room, I have one for sale on here somewhere but it’s for a roof mounted van F65 awning.

AFAIK as already mentioned you have to have a 'zip' awning fitted to be be able to attach the zip sides/front, so if you haven't got one you'll have to stick with the standard awning sides with poles etc.

Hi I have a fiamma clip system box awning for the side of my motorhome, but I have a problem, both side bars that sandwich the canopy above has two unusual parts attached that don't connect to my van, the part number is 98655-497 . What I would like to know is does anyone know what part I need to attach this item to.
Thanks Steve

Try Johns Cross motorhomes Robertsbridge East Sussex they do fiamma awnings and are very helpful.

Coming from caravans I have a good grounding in awnings.

Think long and hard before spending a fortune.

The upsides

They make a massive increase in space that is very welcome with a lovely space to socialise and shelter when the weather is bad.

The downsides

They are still cold though in all but good weather. They are heavy and when put away wet, which they nearly always are, have to be put out to dry again when home. Pegging out is a pain and if the ground isn’t level they are never straight. If it gets windy, put it away as they don’t cope with strong winds.

Fiamma types will always have a lot of condensation as well because they aren’t the breathable types. In anything less than perfect conditions they are very wet inside.

I would always buy second hand first and see if it suits, there is a reason there are lots to choose from on the second hand market.
