Can anybody tell me what specific size bolts are required to attach the rails to the Fiamma bike carry C pro?
Reason is, I swapped my old 2-bike version for a newer telescopic version (my and Sharon's bikes wouldn't fit side by side on the old one, and now can also fit small person's bike on too).
So, I wanted to salvage one of the rails off the old carrier for the new one to make it into a three-er.
Problem is the bolts from the old one are too short - new tubes being a bit fatter to accomodate sliding telescopic bit.
I bought some M5 carriage bolts off the internets. But the square shoulder bits are a little too deep so the rail can't clamp down and slides back and forth.
I could pack it out with washers I suppose, but is there a specific type of carriage bolt with a slightly skinnier square bit that will fit properly??
Thanks for your assistance!
Jamie.
