Fiamma awning problem

The plastic fasteners that you release to extend the legs won’t come undone, any ideas how to loosen them, they are plastic so didn’t want to go for the brute for route in case they snap. Any top tips for something to get them turning gratefully received

Ours is an Omnistore and I always think I will break mine, but they dont

is it just a case of being tougher / braver

we have had a few things very reluctant to move on ours, one of our skylights can’t turn the handle, I have got it open by being ‘tougher’ but it hasn’t freed still very stiff

I don’t know if the catches can be changed or if you would need new legs, that might be the ultimate cure for you I have ordered a new winder mechanism for my sky light

WD40 will loosen them. Give it 10 mins to soak in.

In my experience NEVER USE WD 40 on plastic!! Use a silicone spray.

Vert hot water, less chance of damaging anything.
