Started a new thread as needed help ASAP and did not think adding to the other would gain traction. Mods please link after I get a reply please

From the instructions it’s not clear if the rubber washer is to go on the motothome outside wall or inside wall?

Fiamma are closed today. Either way it would stop the main support plate been mounted flat flush against the body and then also internally the small metal support plate would also not sit flat against the inside wall so for the life of me I can’t work out where that part should go?

The instructions don’t show anywhere in the book a picture with it mounted as a breakdown so it’s hopelsss guess work from me.

As PPJ says.
I bought my awning secondhand and it didn't come with the rubber washers, so I bedded it on a layer of pu adhesive.

It is also good practice to put a metal tube on the bolts where it passes through the wall to stop the wall crushing between the plates.

The rubber washers go between the outer plate and the body. When squashed by tightening l find they leave the required 1mm gap for PU adhesive (Sikaflex).
