Ferry to Spain

We are starting to plan our first trip to Spain via ferry in July / august 2023 and are looking for advice and guidance on ways to reduce costs and things to avoid. Our plan was to travel to Bilbao via ferry and then drive to the Barcelona area. Not stuck on a final destination in Spain therefore recommendations welcome. Kevin

So wherever you go take the 50 plus sun cream and instal aircon.
Don't forget the earplugs if you want to sleep before 2am

We'll be visiting in January to March, the only time we venture into Spain. We're happy with 20 to 25 degree heat.

We have lived in Spain for 20 years and are doing the opposite route back to the UK.This year has been unbearable in Spain, going back for 6 weeks, however enjoy your time here

Could be a tad hot...we vacate our Spanish apartment before July and return about October....35 to 40 degrees is not fun.... especially in a metal box...go and try it.. report back after...
