I have booked a crossing out to Spain. It takes two nights as crews change in France.
Does my time in Europe (90 days) start?
a - Day 1 when I board the ferry and leave UK
b - Day 3 when I arrive in Spain

You should get a stamp on your passport when you go through customs at the port in Spain and this will show your entry date…😎

We’ve had this argument discussion before. It’s when the very nice customs officer stamps your passport in Santander. The Channel and Bay of Biscay is not in the Shengen gang 👍

I am now confident enough to book ferry. Well I think I am. Probably. Maybe.
