Advice please from all you knowledgeable kind folk.
We (Mr & Mrs) have been discussing next summer holiday and are thinking two options. One, into Poland
with the intention to visit Auschwitz and a few sites there and back. The other is Northern Spain. Because we will only have 3 weeks, rather than Dover-Calais and drive, we thought Portsmouth-Santander. Just been looking at ferry prices (motorhome up to 9 metres long and up to 4metres high with a cabin) and got a bit of a shock!
Can anyone advise the most cost effective way to book this crossing please?

You can save a bit by joining the Brittany Ferries Club Voyage. Even with the joining fee there will be a saving in the first year - but the price will still be quite high - but the date of travel is also a big factor. If you can't change your dates and don't like the cost you could look elsewhere. Three weeks would give you a good time in Brittany and the west coast of France for example. :)
