i`m a newbie
We are going over early on the 14th July with 2 dogs £65 DFDS. Then return when we want on a flexi ticket with my ferry .com as we did last year at £ 115.00

Is it a lot cheaper to either book the return at calais when out there or just turn up at the terminal and get ticket and wait ? or are there better deals here ive checked the usual ferry sites and got these prices with Dover exchange. ??

i have just looked for prices from calais to dover next monday and can get from £36.00 so it looks like waiting till a couple of days before coming back might be the best option....we are only booking one way as not on a time scale for coming back....:thumb:

Always try to book online in advance. You'll get charged top rate if you just turn up. Made that mistake many years ago.

Also I think you have to book if you have pets and remember to arrive at least 90 mins before to allow for extra time for paperwork. I got moaned at for arriving 75 mins before!

Dover to Calais return £97.50 , My Ferry link, length upto 6.49m Height upto 3.99m . leaving 0845 14th July. It is always a better deal if you book online in France before returning.:thumb:
