Ferry Standard Flexi Tickets

We shall be travelling Dover-Calais soon probably with P&O. We know the day that we shall be sailing from Dover but we want to have a little flexibility on the day that we return. Would Standard Flexi tickets for the return journey cover this or would we need Fully Flexi?

We just buy one-way and call it "very flexi"

Book your return the day before.

We've now booked with DFDS and they offer, for an extra £20, a flexi-ticket that allows us 3 days either side of our booking.
