Ferry from Italy to Sicily

Morning Funsters

Well a year later than first planned we are 50km from the toe of the mainland.
Looking for all advice for the ferry to Sicily today please. 7.5M van 2 people and one way ticket.
All help appreciated can't fi d much help on line atm.

We boarded tbe ferry at about 11am this morning......easy peasy.
We could have got a ticket at the last services but they only sold for Blue Line...guess that would have been ok it was €13 cheaper but we had been told to get Caronte so we did.
Bought the ticket at the new barriers before the ferry...dead easy......we did not encounter the 5 euro man as mentioned b DBK I think but met with "some centimes for coffee man " instead.....harmless but annoying.

It is just like being in Italy.
