Just been looking at P&O Ferries from Calais to Dover. Saver fare approximately £78. Not sure when I will be returning so I looked at a return ticket which I can change or just booking a single ticket and I will book the return when I'm ready to come back. The return tick will cost around £130 if I book a return ticket.
What do most people do. Do you buy a return ticket or just book your return when your ready to come back.
The outward trip whether you buy a single or return is the same price.
Do they sting you on your return ticket.

Check your travel insurance a lot of policies only cover you if a return trip is booked.

Never had a return. To do so would mean you cannot roam at your own pace, you'd constantly be worrying about how far you can before having to head back. Also once you start heading back the 'holiday feeling' is lost and you are just travelling to catch a ferry. Booking a return ferry when we are near to the channel is just booking a crossing, you check the options and choose the best value. It makes no difference to them which direction you are going. (y)
