If Brittany happen to cancel our crossing from Cherbourg to Poole Tuesday 11th do they refund ? I ain’t going that way now anyway - booked the tunnel (and glad I did ) but just wondering if I can get part of our fare back

Yes you will get a full refund if they cancel.
If they cancel it they will offer you a refund or an alternative crossing.

Dover is at a standstill at the moment as they cannot get in or out safely without two tugs. I certainly would not want to be on any ferry at the moment, I had enough of that on the local Lifeboat when I was younger. I hope the Immigrants do not try coming over in a dingy with a little outboard, tonight.

Daughter told us tonight that not only was Dover port shut, so was the Tunnel. Didn't check though and don't know why. However best to check in case there's a backlog.
