Seems dear? I've just looked at taking the M'home (26') and it was £420 flexible fare? Travelling end of July or early August for six weeks. If you are a member of the Caravan Club, they may be cheaper?
Would love to know if you've 'done' Ireland with your van?
Cheers
Ann

Only way would be to look at changing day and/or times to maybe get it a bit lower, also I think you can still use Tesco vouchers in exchange for Travel vouchers (3 x face value = up to £110 each crossing, so £220 max for a return).

I used to regularly use the irish ferries and the cheapest tickets are very early morning. have very fond memories of seeing dawn break over ireland, particularly Dublin Bay

Not long enough, but a little common sense helps..........
We are going Fishguard - Rosslaire return next week and I search for ages for a discount code and failed. If it was not for a family visit I would not bother as very costly...... such is life.

Check http://www.seatruckferries.com/ports/warrenpoint as they can be much cheaper than the main operators.

Definitely cheaper!

Our current price for Car & motorhomes is as follows:
    • £120 / €145 one way motorhomes with a max of two passengers

Great link and very cheap, but no pets, so wife and our cat cannot travel..................

Hi, deals do come up, we put this thread on here.

http://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/ireland-£99-each-way-but-be-quick.103542/

We are here now, weather is good, doing the wild Atlantic route and loving it, I can see us returning.

;) If we can get another deal on the crossing.:LOL: Bob and Janie

Another bonus is for dog owners, no extra to pay and no visit to the vets.
Thanks Bob and Janie as we availed of the offer and booked our trip April to yesterday and also our return leg of our August to September trip. First time we have travelled on Irish ferries as normally go on Stena Line and we were impressed. The ferry was the small one with no frills but not crowded or full of screaming kids and hoards of coach passengers like the big ferries.
