I added this question into another thread but it probably got lost in translation. I intend to retire in May and hopefully spend more time abroad instead of the annual 2 week rush around, we were looking at ferries to Spain later in the year (probably late Sep/early Oct) and mindful of the 90 day limit and a desire to be at home with the kids/grandkids for Christmas we have been looking at return ferries in late Nov/Dec (Brittany) but there don't appear to be any that sail after early Nov, am I looking in the wrong place or is this correct and we would need to drive back?

Have always driven before but looking at the ferry for a change.

You probably need to wait whilst they release the winter sailings.
Yes they do run all year.

Bolti thanks I did look at the sailing schedule and that did cross my mind, given the apparent rush for ferry bookings I will probably book the outward crossing and wait until the Winter schedule is released then book the return.

They close the Plymouth/Santander route during the winter
So you have to go to Portsmouth

Thanks Brains, that would have been my choice anyway as the daughter lives is Fareham and it gives us a very local over-nighter if we need it. I presume the Winter schedule won't be out until the Summer months anyway.
