Favourite things about summer

    What do you look forward too about summer (if it ever arrives). I absolutely love nectarines and can eat them by the punnit.Its just a case of finding the right source for some goodens and im prepared to travel.:roflmto:

    On a hot summers night siting on decking at back of our house with a cool beer and watching sun set over Pennines
    Simple but bliss
    Done it twice this year

    There is a place near you Dave in Seasalter (or near there) where you can buy cherries straight from the tree. Lovely.

    Carry on to Seasalter and have a good breakfast in the tiny cafe there.

    I planted a cherry tree in my garden years back which is getting big with alot of fruit.I always thought the fruit was a bit sour and would get better with time:Smile:.Nope ,not these .I have discovered its a morello cherry tree :RollEyes: . Ok if you wanna make a pie.:ROFLMAO: Unless its something to do with Angus cocking his leg up the trunk,its his favourite.

    Best part of summer is, you can nearly always find the sun somewhere in the UK and, when you own a Motorhome, it's easy to chase it. Love it!
