I appear to have an earth fault on the dash of my 2016 Fiat Ducato. With the ignition on and engine running ( drivers seatbelt unclipped), the TPMS & front fog warning lights are on at probably 30% illumination of the seatbelt warning light. When i clip the seatbelt in, all lights extinguish. I dont have TPMS or front fogs fitted.
When i get home on Saturday , ill pull the dash out and check the connections & give it a spray with an electrical contact spray. Any other thoughts on cause?

I read through that thread and found it very illuminating :imoutahere: :imoutahere:

I had a 2014 Autosleeper on a Peugeot chassis, similar problem, random warning lights coming on. It was a known fault at that time, instrument cluster was replaced under warranty , I thought they had solved the problem by now. The Peugeot dealer said it was caused by condensation getting into the cluster, who knows

Thanks, looks like a trip to Cartronix

As it is such a well known fault, we had it one of our motorhome, I would check with a FIAT Professional dealership if FIAT will replace FOC or make a contribution.

I believe that as it is a manufacturing fault you may have a claim under consumer legislation. Some of the posters on the Forum will have much more knowledge of the legal situation than I do. Hopefully someone may come along with proper advice.

Prob easier & quicker to spend £150 & get a lifetime guarantee.

At least it will be guaranteed for life, unlike the FIAT replacement.

I just don’t like to see large corporations avoiding their responsibilities.
