We recently purchased a 12v Fan-tastic Vent Endless Breese fan and when in use it has an annoying vibration which seems to be because the fan is not correctly balanced so we are thinking of asking for a replacement unit. Does anyone else have experience of this fan?

The endless breeze had an issue with a dodgy batch quite a while ago and people were glueing pennies onto fan blades. It moves a lot of air so there will be some vibration but nothing to annoy you, if it is vibrating badly I would take it back.

Ours can be very noisy if not standing quite level - or something like that. We find when we first get it out and switch on, we often need to adjust the position slightly to stop the ting, ting, ting sound. Not a huge issue, just slightly surprising.

Thank you for the replies... The vibration isn't too bad but will be annoying. I will test it again and have a think about returning/swapping.

seems to be that all fans develop an annoying noise if you keep them long enough!

We were in France last year during the heatwave, our Endless Breeze was a godsend with no air conditioning.

Noisey or not it did it's job of supplying a lovely breeze, even outside in the shade..

Mine was fine on No.1 setting, but vibrating on any higher.
I took the plastic surround off and found one of the plastic moulding pieces in the frame had split, causing some movement of the fan unit, hence the vibration.
A touch of superglue, sorted ?

Vibration will be caused by the blades out of balance, either by weight or through damage to one or more blades. As mentioned above a careful inspection will probably show something amiss which is probably quite easy to fix. Make sure they're clean too.

Bought one of these units a couple of years ago to supplant the hab aircon which hardly ever gets used (needs hookup). It's definitely proved it's worth - we keep it in it's original packaging to avoid damage.
