Facilities at storage depots (1 Viewer)

Just enquiring from a future MH owner regarding storage depot facilities.
Understand that they vary a lot but what should I expect from an average depot?
good security
24 hour access
Able to leave my car when away
MH cleaning area
Able to carry out light maintenance
Waste dump area, toilet,grey and fresh water
Water fill up point
Electric hook up
Able to stay overnight if late arriving, early departures

Is this list too long and am expecting too much for what is a secure van park?

In a word yes ,but you may be lucky we store at a site that is only 20 minutes walk away from the house and all there is there is a yard with good gates and cctv.A previous storage site was at the rear of a farmers house and frankly the vans were so tightly packed it was a disaster waiting to happen but they did have a hosepipe.

Sounds ok as a list but a bit optimistic in our experience its more a matter of where you can find a space I think they choose you not the other way around !!!.

ours has washing,can leave car when away in MH,cossa site swipe pass to get in

hours summer 8.00am to 8 pm,for about 6 weeks in summer 8 am to 9am, winter 8am to 4pm

Your list sounds like a good campsite in Europe..... don't store it use it...

I use a CASSOA gold storage, all immaculate hardstanding, marked bays with enough room to park, load and unload.

24 hour access - Not on mine, between 8pm to 7am locked down.
Able to leave my car when away - Yes, always do.
MH cleaning area - No.
Able to carry out light maintenance - Yes, owner has a decent workshop if in trouble.
Waste dump area, toilet,grey and fresh water - No
Water fill up point - Yes, but never tried it.
Electric hook up - No, solar panel keeps the batteries going.
Able to stay overnight if late arriving, early departures - No.

Only one way in and out, 2 steel gates, one sliding, one hinged and an automatic barrier, all have cameras.

Is it usual to be able to leave your car in place of MH at storage facility when you drive there to take it out?

We have ours in a CASSOA Gold storeage
good security - Yes, CCTV, High palisade fencing, lighting, controlled access via key fob.
24 hour access - No 8-8 in summer 8-6 in winter.
Able to leave my car when away - Yes
MH cleaning area - Yes, plus air for tyres, vacuum and pressure washer if you want.
Able to carry out light maintenance - Yes
Waste dump area, toilet,grey and fresh water - Yes
Water fill up point - Yes
Electric hook up - Only at wash bay area
Able to stay overnight if late arriving, early departures - No
