Facebookers, please share this post and help get the word out. Thanks

On the opposite tack Jim, even though I had joined the FB group, after yesterday’s interview with someone on the Jezzer Vine show, discussing how FB gets your information and what it does with it, I logged off FB. I tried to deactivate the account, but found that impossible to do.

So, even though I would love to help out, I won’t see the FB posts. Will there be any communication between the FB group and here?

I don't understand facebook at all. I'm told all the kids have left it. And most everyone there is over 50. I do know there are a lot of over 50 motorhomers there. But its useless for anything other than chatting. Posts dissapear in hours and you don't get the organisiation and reference that you can with a forum, so I'm just using it to let them know where the MCA is so they can register. We also make it easy with for FBers with a button so they can register with facebook details.

It's hard to take the numbers there seriously. Groups and group numbers I find weird. You might have a group that boasts 30,000 members, but with less than a thousand register on their website.

What is Facebook doing over than using your data to get targeted ads?

Edit: what I found here

I've shared to some groups I belong to, but as you say posts disappear so quickly don't know if anyone will actually see them.
