Bargain!

I bought two of these a few months ago and found out that they weren't really compatible with my requirements.

If anyone wants them, they can have them for £15 the pair. One is still in the box (never used), the other has no box but has only been used once. I will need to dig them out (now in parents loft along with other impulse purchases!) so it would take me a week or two to get them.

I am in the Peterborough area if anyone wants to collect or I can post - purchaser pays postage, I can quote for various types of postage if necessary when I have weighed them.

Reasons!

Hi John

It's not that I don't like them, it's more that they aren't for me.

I live in my van, my hose gets rolled out every two to three days (around 120-150 times a year) for a tank fill - and by hose I can mean up to 100 foot of the green python! Depending upon where I am staying, the hose often gets left out at full stretch too.

These hoses are attached to the reel, and they are quite stiff. They are not suitable for me to reel them out and leave them - and I rarely pull up next to a tap where I may only need to extend a few feet or pitch near a tap where these would really come into their own.

They are fantastic to store, which really attracted me in the first place (my garage needs all the help it can get) but for my needs I would need at least 3 attached together and they would need to be more flexible.

My current hoses reach about 150 feet (when joined), are anti kink and can stand all sorts of abuse. The down side is they are heavy although they do now live in the shower when we move to avoid leakage in the van! We have also learnt to cover each end when storing hoses outside to prevent spider and beetles from setting up home in the hose .. was shocking to see our fresh water tank before we realised this! :Eeek:
