I'm no expert but adding a 100w solar gives you about 10amps ish??? which will be too much for the \\Reg.
However, the 80w alternative (160w, combined),would be just under at about 8.5amps so you would get away with it.

I think you would get away with adding a 100 watt panel to your 80 watt using your existing regulator. You never get the full amps out of a solar panel.

Camping,
Whilst I would agree that the OP 'might' get away with it, and that he wouldn't get the full amps, there's no point in risking it for the sake of 20watts.

I got 300 watts of solar on my roof and in peak sun I get around 8 amps... just saying.

Well just to add my £0.02 worth, we can get 22 amps from 320 watts so 2x80 amps could peak at over 10 amps so adding another 100 watts might be pushing it. You could add another solar controller onto the same batteries.

That's interesting but I think you should get more than that
I get 7.6A from 200w in the UK regularly.
My thoughts also.
In a perfect world 300w would produce 25amps.
In the real world over 50% of that should be attainable in good sun.
I would be disappointed to see less than 12 to 15 amps but of course, it depends on the battery state of charge.

Regularly get over 10 amps from our 200 watts in the UK. Max is around 6.25 per 100 watts.
Need to work your figures out at 16v, you won't get any charge into the batteries at 12v.
