These Elefant locks fit 2006 Bessacarr 745 a treat.
Extra security for any motorhome if your hab locks look like these

Brilliant easy on ... easy off, they can be found on
Amazon: Brunner Door Security Elephant
or on manufacturers website:
I bought 2 - one each for upper and lower lock mechanism, but I'll bet the more resourceful of funsters here would be able to make duplicates from the design.

Great product - simple but effective (y) & 8 different ones available now - some more info. & photos of other models here https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...ding-accessories-discount-codes.184590/page-7
Whilst Frankana.de list 6 of the models it's also worth a look at Elefant.de website for the latest ones http://tuersicherung-elefant.de/ as there are currently 8 variations. See thread above ref. advice on buying from Germany. As mentioned before Amazon do sell some branded as Brunner Elephant so possible to buy those in UK.

I got mine from ATE Fabrication. Solid bit of metal, does the job for extra security. Very happy with it, got a pedal lock from them too!

Great until they break a plastic window, or they smash a cab window. Get a good alarm and tracker.

Got those as well.
And made some security chains for the doors. Bought a chain from B&Q and 2 carabiners, brother in law made the plates, son cut them with a some power tools, a family feat of engineering!

So with my van, I have a full Vanbitz Growler, Non Starter App, Shadow VTS. Yes it’s my dad and mum before I get moaned at for being biased however they jumped at fitting it quickly when I threatened to move home if they didn’t.
I also have a dead lock on the van door, security locks elsewhere. I am also 15 stone, played rugby most of my life and have 2 German Shepherds.
However… if someone is going to take the van they will, however I have the best possible deterrents I can. In truth when The thief wants my van, selfishly I want them to look at mine and say f**k that lets take the next van, which is a result for me!

I've made one which works well.
Mine has the same '2pin' lock style.
We use it at night or fit it and exit the van via the front doors.
At night we chain the doors as well.

This is our solution for preventing the hab door from being pulled open from the outside (see photo). We don't use it very often as, like most people, where possible we avoid parking up anywhere that doesn't feel right but on the odd occasion we have to chance it it gives a bit more peace of mind. Our previous van had simple turnbuckles fitted to the inside of the door and they saved our bacon one night when several motorhomes either side of us were broken into during the night. In the morning we discovered our hab door lock had been broken but the culprits hadn't managed to get in because we'd deployed the turnbuckles.
