extra belted seats autotrail apache 2010

Hi I have an Autotrail Apache 2010 mode lwith a rear lounge set up but need at least 1 more belted seat would this be possible to change the front passenger seat back to a bench type or can a seat belt be fitted to the rear lounge seat any ideas and recommend where to get work carried out

Is it the Apache 700?

The front seat may be an option but it depends on whether it has seatbelt pre-tensioners fitted and if the canbus system is effected by the change,

I would be amazed if you could not retro fit the bench seat for the passengers side.



I suspect they always come up for sale as the single seat may well be the preferred option.

If you buy a double front seat it’s an easy job to take out the single one and fix the double as they share the same fixings. The double seat should come with a complete seatbelt for the middle seat so should not be a problem.
There should be plenty of double seats available, I could not sell the one I took out of my van and was in my garage for years.
You could try Cabmasters for a new one.

just remember to update DVLA and your insurance that you have altered the base vehicle

If you have an Apache 700 with the dinette you could maybe fit a seat belt on the rear facing seat
