Booking single crossing to get home - Ld/dfds: £100 ( - 20%) = £80 Newhaven/Dieppe

BF : £228 ... ( - 30% % = £159.60 or - 10% = £205.20)
Portsmouth/Caen

Both single.

No brainer IMHO.

How long does each crossing take, and what sort of quality of service do you get.

Just checked this - this afternoon Southampton to Cowes I.O.W. single £106 - now that is expensive! Refreshed screen two minutes later and it dropped to £67 :ROFLMAO:

Not much difference in crossing times - 4/5 hours with LD. Nicer ships, in the sense of no razzmataz, easy access to cabins, loading ramps much flatter... And the bunks are more comfortable... . IMHO!! Nothing to choose service-wise that I can see... Just a heck of a lot cheaper. Just saying - not selling ;)

I have used both and if you are above a certain age DFDS give 20 percent. I enjoyed both and am teamed with another Funster for Brittany Ferries but the DFDS has worked very, very well for me this year!

Clive or is that Cleve or could it be Clive
