We have previously used Taylormade (on A coachbuilt) and been very Happy with them. Our Aviano ( a class) does not have any cab doors. Any ideas on wind screen covers, and how would they attach?

Mine is from Minster Products.

It fits over the near side door and through the off side sliding window. It could do with and eyelet and a ball bungee to the door handle on the near side as when it's windy it pulls it out of the door gap.

At the risk of getting slated, as a cheap alternative, would it not be feesable to buy a roll of aluminium coated bubble wrap foil, cut a length that fits accross the windscreen and tuck it each end in the door shuts.
Sure it wouldn’t cover the side windows, but if you just want to keep the hot summer heat out, would go some way to help?
Can buy a 10m length of flea bay for just over £20

A lot of A class MHs have special channels and catches fitted for silver screens.
Channel along the tops and catches at the sides.

Yes I may well contact Minster, but I do not have any cab doors.

Yes indeed, I just wondered if anyone could offer some specific company advice.

Give these guys a call, they may already have a pattern:-

http://www.silverscreens.co.uk/Latest Additions 1.html

They were very thorough when we ordered an external screen for our Aviano with a single cab door.

Do you have sliding windows both sides of the cab? They may have a sucker approach as per our non door side.
Thank you Mr RBQC, yes we do have sliding windows both sides. I will try them later in the week, once I have got authorisation from Mrs Mart.

We have a Soplair screen on our a class Rapido.
Ties round the mirrors, and comes with press stud like clips that fit into the body work. Very well made and a great fit.

Had them on our last Hymer they were supplied with aluminium channel screwed on around the windows.
Only used them a couple of times as there were heating vents between the blinds and screws haven't bothered with this van as we have the insulated aluminium blind.

You will probably find genuine Hymer ones cheaper, we had them for our Exsis about £250.

Don’t know if we will get them yet but we never use the heating a lot when Down in Spain over the winter and very often frosty nights so could help with condensation.

Find we only get condensation when we open the blinds in the morning, not enough to bother with external covers maybe different if we went skiing.
