External Window Shades ? (1 Viewer)

So Im just wondering if there is such a thing as External Window Shades/Sun Blinds or Was there once apon a time & it never caught on.

Our van was built in 1997 & every window & frame has what looks like an awning channel on the top & the frame is even cut out suggesting that something was designed to slide in.

Any Ideas ?

Isabella do them but they are common on the continent. This German company do them.

We made our own with material and sewn in elastic as in above photo, they are good for keeping sun out.
