Hi All, just a quick question as above. Which is better ? I have a transit mk 6 base and Autosleeper build and we are using it regardless of weather but front cab is drafty and we get a lot of internal condensation obviously on windscreen. I believe an external maybe better as it wraps up the door seals?
Cheers Mark

Now a lot of folk will say EXTERNAL
But I will say it depends where you are if you're wilding and want to drive away without going out and potentially getting wet then internal are good

So why not find a set of internal and external

I use both, internal if wilding and external if on site, if very cold or hot probably worth fitting both if on a secure site,

The wet never bothers me......well it bloody does but I walk dog every morning regardless so might pull the trigger on external.

+1 for both.
Bearing in mind the thermal insulation in the cab area is not that great, sometimes you will need internal and external (that extra layer does help when it gets really cold)
I see from your profile that you wild camp and for that reason you will know the benefits of internal blinds

Yes we mainly hammock camp now and always have a quilt under slung externally of hammock it's helps stop condensation. I agree though internal and external would probs be better I'll try external and experiment with some home internal blinds when I get around to it.

We have a mk7 outside always, when cold use a curtain between hab and cab to cut drafts, makes a huge difference.

Good point, I have had to dry out my external blinds more times than I care to remember!!!!

Yes never thought about when blinds get wet! Considered! Sorry when I meant hammock I meant a hammock between 2 trees ie reference to wild camping.
