My van has an external bbq point, fitted before I bought it. I have some hose to connect to the bbq, but none of the fittings I have seem to fit the bbq point. I realise this is difficult to diagnose remotely, but have posted pix of the point and my fittings in the hope that someone can make some sense of it. TIA.

Many thanks to grasscutter and Two of usI I was trying to screw on to the thread. A bayonet fitting makes sense now, I think..... Will get over to the van sometime next week and give it a try. I may be back.........

Please don’t use the fitting on the right ⚠️
That is part of a different fitting and looks like it fits in the second nut in your picture.
The fitting you require is slightly different as it connects to a hose at one end .

Totally confused now. You're probably right. Just looking at the photo it seemed the one on the right does fit to a hose. Maybe not. The problem is I don't have the bits in my hands right now, so I'm trying to make sense of the suggestions just using the photos. I'll try to get a better look next week. Thanks for your input.

Right. Our posts crossed. I can see now what you mean. My one doesn't actually have the pushfit end for a hose, does it? Bit annoying as all those bits came with a kit including hose that was supposed to see me sorted. Looks like I got screwed.

The fitting on the end will fit the GOK / Truma valve as said but it’s not for a hose , it goes with nut 2 I think and then you would require a 3/8 or 1/4 bsp male Fulham nozzle to connect it up .
Just easier to use the hose type .
Message me with your address and I’ll send you one .
