I’m not sure when or where you would find a use for this.

I have been carrying a 4 gang extension for 5 years in the motorhome and haven't used it yet! Which reminds me, next time I'm back in the UK I must offload it. ?
I also carry a couple of adaptors, one UK to Euro and one Euro to UK which I have found to be a lot more useful.

That would come in handy on a long ferry crossing to power your phone chargers, laptops etc in the cabin.
