We are the third owners of this Ducato PVC. It had a full hab check service and MOT before we bought it, all to an excellent standard and we have a 12 month warranty. The company we bought it from has helped pay for several small things that went wrong, eg. broken drain tap, and even contributed to a failed airbag sensor that wasn't covered under the warranty.

The only thing that we can foresee being a problem is the pump, which judders and makes the water flow pulse, and which doesn't appear to be because of an airlock. I have already notified the company we bought it from as the warranty has another couple of weeks to run.

The warranty company have emailed to offer us an extension - is it worth the money? £310 for one year, £555 for two.

How many water pumps could you buy for £310?
Apparently about 75% of one - according to the average repair cost based on claims made in the last 5 years.

And, as I've notified them that there is a problem, they will cover the cost of the pump if it needs replacing after the warranty is up.
