Looking through the latest NCC verified battery list, I was more than a little surprised to see this lead acid battery being given a class 'A' rating by the above scheme and also rated at 360 cycles at 50% DOD. This is 160 cycles more than the Banner 95751 Lead Acid battery (class B) and only for a few more pounds. I would be interested to know if any members have purchased said battery and how they have found it's performance.

Any one have a view on the above. I have been looking for replacements leisure batteries. Varta et al are my list but this battery looked interesting. We sort of fall betweent the NCC Cat B and A in usage!

Be advised the Carta LFD 90 that seems to be popular on here, is according to Varta's own website for caravans and motorhomes with a low to moderate usage.

Yep the varta is on my list, if I can get 3 in I may go for it but was wondering if anyone had experience of the Excide, given it is a lower cat A battery and more 'grunt' per battery.
