Hi Everyone,
We have bought our first motorhome as a 25th wedding anniversery present to ourselves. It is a Moncayo Meditarrano 465 and we love it. We have already had a little try out a few weeks ago and we are off again this weekend with youngest daughter, granddaughter and two dogs.
We usually go on cruises for our holidays but finding it hard to recruit dog sitters now so planning to take them with us into France and maybe as far as Italy next year. Please feel free to bombard me with useful tips.:winky:

No tips you are going about it the right way just go ahead and use it. We all learnt this way. If you get any problems then please ask we will be happy to help, and so will most motor homers that you meet. We are quite a friendly bunch.

Best of luck in your travels.

Welcome, we are experienced travellers with the Mutt, but still new to Motorhoming. Enjoy.

Good luck with you new MH. We were new to Motorhoming and got our first MH last May 08. Completely addicted now and looking to go full time. Just come back from 3 months in Europe and cant wait to get away again. I hope you find the freedom it gives you and the pure pleasure from just going where you like as enjoyable as we have!

Enjoy, we also have a 465, theyre great for the kids and a rather handsome looking motor, but i'd take a look at the underside, especialy the rear corners.
We've just found the rear section of the floor and the lower sections of the walls on our 04 model to be very damp. Comparing towbar designs with the owner of a 03 Moncayo Nova (similar to the 465 but on the shorter chassis) we found he also had serious structural damp in similar places. Looks like a fundemental design / build issue. Not sure if anyone else has experience of this.
This minor (Ha!) shortcomming aside its a great van.
