Hi
Looking at a couple of 100w panels which come with 5m of cable with MC4 connectors. I am planning on connecting these in parallel on the roof and then running another cable through the roof to the controller.
I am not going to use the 5 m to connect them so it it all right to coil the excess and leave it under the panels without any issues?

Thanks. Brain of Britain here was only thinking of having to cut the connectors of, forgot you could probably shorten it at the terminal box.

Since 1996, had Elddis/Swift/Rapido/Rimor/Chausson MHs. Autocruise/Globecar PVCs/Compactline i-138
Alternatively you could run both sets of cables down and join both to the controller, that's what I did on our previous camper.

7 years campers before that
if they are long enough to reach the controller cut the plugs off and run in one go the less joints on any circuit the better
