Excellent service from IH (1 Viewer)

Took my 600RD back to IH yesterday as a slight leak had developed from the shower tap and the lever on the shower head had broken off . I suspect both problems may have been as a result of water freezing in the pipes over winter as the shower has never been used . All the staff were so friendly and the problem was fix in under 30 minutes at no charge , in fact I hardly had time to drink the free coffee before my keys were handed back to me . It is when problems arise that manufacturers show their true colours and in respect of IH their response has been absolutely brilliant. A British company providing truly excellent service.

Why are we surprised when we receive excellent service?
Is it because we have come to expect mediocrity?
Maybe the price they charge for their vans has the aftercare service built-in.
Would we all be prepared to pay a premium upfront knowing follow up service was as good as this?

I've heard similar reports from the Auto Sleeper factory.

Nice to know excellent customer service is still around.

Excellent company to do business with.

We had a few issues with ours which were not caused by IH but all fixed without charge or any hassle that seems to be normal elsewhere in the motorhome industry.
