While fiddling around as I do looking for information for London came across this site WhereCanWeGo.com could not beleive how easy it was, just typed in my own post code and the information that came up that I had no idea about was excellent.
So when travelling in a new area should be a real help in a strange place.

WhereCanWeGo.com never know someone more experienced than me may put a proper link.

What on earth are you doing searching the internet on London when you have funsters that have lived here all their lives oh:oh:oh:oh:

If you find attractions/museums etc that you want to visit, ebay is worth a visit and often you will get tickets far cheaper

If we had known you were coming earlier we could have got you tickets for the Tower of London Locking up ceremony - Ceremony of the Keys. They usually need 3-6 months notice

Just wondering Gail, do you have to pay to get into all the museums or are some of the London ones free.

Museums are free but any special exhibitions in the museums normally are charged for. It is possible to do lots of things for free in London.

Thanks Carol, just typed in my new post code and found that several of my neighbours are having an open garden this week end, and one of the local villages have over 50 garage sales at the same time in an attempt to have the largest garage sale anywhere! :thumb:

I'm off to Portugal tomorrow, I'll miss it all.........
