After many years of caravanning we have finally taken the decision to buy a motorhome, and after much research and many miles walking around the NEC last Autumn, we have decided on an imported Hymer Exsis i 504. Having already read many of the threads on buying motorhomes, and seeing the consensus that it can usually take up to the third mh to get it right, we are hoping that the research and knowledge from this forum have helped us to by-pass that particular expensive scenario!

We live in Mid Wales and plan to use the van for short breaks in the UK and longer trips on the continent. Having decided on the mh, which is being delivered in a couple of weeks, we are now researching all the accessories we will be hoping to fit, such as tv internet dish, solar panels, extra battery etc. We have already found many of the threads on this site extremely helpful.

We are hoping to attend a Show as early as possible, any thoughts on the best ones to go to would be appreciated.

Hello and welcome, the outdoor shows that will sell accessories that you might need are advertised in the rally chat area on this forum take a look in there and see if there are any you wish to attend.

Also look on Warners out and about web site and they will give more details.

Welcome to the sensible side. You'll wonder why it took you so long. Mind you, we still have a caravan lurking in the back garden lol.
