Greetings All,

THIS EVENT IS NOW CANCELLED

It will be noted that spaces this year are very limited.
When the Easter event was an early casualty of COVID last year and was cancelled, we made a commitment to those on the list of attendees, on that day, that there would be a place for them this year. As a result, we only have six places available and up for grabs.

Please read the below information.

Read the 'stuff' at the bottom, ie Adults only, No 'Third Party' bookings.

Location: Avon Bank Meadows Campsite, Mill Lane, Wyre Piddle, Worcestershire. WR10 2JF
This is a Caravan and Motorhome Club CL. with a field. The field has EHU and an aerial socket (TV reception without this is not the best).

Avon Bank was awarded the Caravan and Motorhome Club CL of the Year 2018.
It's beside the River Avon which is navigable. Although I'm told it's Close Season for Fishing at Easter, boating/kayaking/canoeing are allowed from the site.

It can be seen that the space available for this event could be described as 'compact and bijoux'. I reluctantly therefore have to restrict attendees to Coachbuilt and A Class 'vans (and smaller). We cannot accommodate R.V.'s other than Class C (Think Jim's 'Van)

The event starts at 12noon on Thursday 1st April 2021
finishing at 11.00am Wednesday 7th April 2021 NB. An extra night to last year.
There are only 6 places available (See above)
THIS IS A 6 NIGHT RALLY.

The Cost for the event is £76 to Include your Pitch with EHU.

Wyre Piddle is within easy walking distance, where there is a pub, and buses to nearby towns.
Pershore is a flat, pleasant, one mile walk through meadows. Pershore has an ASDA and numerous shops, bars and cafes.

Facilities: Although a basic site, Avon Bank has EHU for each attendee, TV Aerial sockets, and there are several water taps around the site. There are laundry facilities.
Access: Double gates from Mill Lane direct into Wyre Boatyard. Gravel driveway leading to the Field.
Dogs: Dogs are welcome. They must be on leads or tethered on the field. There is ample provision for exercise off the site.
Generators: As there is EHU for all, No generators please.
Pop up Gazebos. These will be accepted, providing they are not used as a space for Social Gatherings.

Deposit NB. BECAUSE OF THE CURRENT SITUATION, THERE IS NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED THIS YEAR.
HOWEVER, WE WILL REQUIRE FULL PAYMENT ON OR BEFORE 1ST MARCH

(BY THEN WE MAY HAVE MORE IDEA AS TO WHEN/IF THE EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE)

Do not send payment to any previously published Bank details. I will not accept any responsibility should this occur and I do not receive the money.

N.B. We appreciate that in a small number of cases there may be Funsters who have to cancel. The Final Payment will be repaid if that place is filled by someone on the Reserve List. Otherwise £10 will be forfeited and that money will go to Charity.

************************************************

We have no idea as to whether there are events taking place at nearby Pershore but we will be bringing the Cornish Skittles and no doubt there will be other 'stuff' taking place for the enjoyment of all.
We will bringing our collection of Good, Clean, (Condition if not content) Paperbacks which will be on sale in Aid of Prostate Cancer UK

PLEASE NOTE

ADULT ONLY

This Rally is 'Adults Only.' The River Avon runs alongside the site and is deep. The site itself is Adult Only..
There is no objection to a child visiting with 'Day Visitors.'

THIRD PARTY BOOKINGS
I will not be accepting bookings from 'Third Parties' on this event. If you wish to attend with a mate, you will both, (or more) have to book in your own name.

Regards

Derek and Mary AKA Emmit

Can we put our name down please ? Thank you .
Beacons did you miss this paragraph in emmits post

N.B. In order to make it fair to everyone wishing to attend, we will not be accepting names until 6pm. Sunday 10th January 2021. That will give every Funster the opportunity to consult their diaries, mates etc. to sort themselves out. If you wish to come, post on this thread on or after 6.00pm on the above date. Not before that time, (it will be ignored)

I'm (hopefully) putting this to the top of the Scheduled rallies by posting this.

Because there are only 6 initial places I will also be sending a message as this computer reaches 6pm.

If there's anyone's post in front of mine then you are too early and will have to have another go.

I'm trying to be fair to EVERYONE. Good Luck!
