Evening from a stormy Devon

Something about the rain and wind on the van when you are cuddled up inside and cosy...
enjoy it and just relax

Kev

Nothing nicer than nature throwing a wobbly and being tucked up inside van. We were in VanBitz site in Taunton during the last wobbly and I’d have to say we moved loads, but still snuggly. Much better than a tent or trailer tent. Yes there was both during our holibob but in Brean, we’d gone prior to Taunton.

Tucked in in our MH with the sound of the waves (hopefully not closer than 100ft away) . Dogs snoozing , tv on.

bliss
Sounds good, we are heading down to North Devon next weekend for a few days. Where abouts are you?

60-70 winds forecast for Devon & Cornwall overnight 50-80mm rain forecast for EXMOOR and heavy rain throughout the Southwest tomorrow according to BBC Spotlight News weatherman at 1830 tonight.

Yes, and I’ve got a leak in my bloody roof........

No, not the motorhome, my house. Can’t get repaired until next week! Gale force winds and torrential rain forecast for South Wales over next 20 hrs.

Think I might move into the motorhome and pretend I’m in the sunshine.

No there isn't especially when you have to walk and dry the dog.even worse when in shorts and flip flops.

The last 15 miles back in to Plymouth today was basically fog, along with the rain.

I'm sure he understands he is just being smug because he can

Holidaying in Devon, the garage smells damp and disgusting such is the volume of wet gear!
Gave up now, it will be wet till we get home.
Drying the kids stuff ready for the next wet day has been a challenge! At least it’s warm. ?

That's the only thing here is that my Chinese diesel heater is worth its weight in gold.

Depending on where you are in Devon, I’m happy to put anything through my washing machine and dryer in case you’re in danger of running out of dry clothes !
The weather has been wild all day, just be careful anyone parked near a seafront. All sorts gets thrown in with the tide so when the sea comes over the wall your vehicle can get pebbledashed or worse.

A very kind offer, we have managed just about, heating on full with the wet kit in the bathroom with all outlets closed except the bathroom.
Your kindness is very appreciated though.
