Truma E517H is a gas fault but the exact reason is not specific.

Is or was the code steady or flashing?

The attached Truma document explains what to do.

Here is the relevant text...

TRUMA RESET PROCEDURE

TWO TYPES OF CODE MAY APPEAR:
W - WARNING CODE OR E - ERROR CODE

IF A SOLID CODE APPEARS THE CUSTOMER CAN CLEAR THIS BY TURNING THE BLACK KNOB ONTO THE TRIANGLE AND PRESSING TWICE

IF A CUSTOMER HAS A GAS ISSUE CODE THE ABOVE PROCEDURE CAN BE CARRIED OUT 5 TIMES BEFORE THE PCB BECOMES LOCKED OUT AND A FLASHING CODE APPEARS - THEY WILL HAVE TO WAIT APPROXIMATELY 15 MINUTES AFTER WHICH THIS WILL GO TO A SOLID CODE AND CAN BE CLEARED AS ABOVE

It’s a learning curve! The more you use things, the easier it becomes.
First time I tried hot water on gas I couldn’t work out why I kept getting a fault showing. Then remembered I’d been told at the handover to remove the outside cover.....Duh! :banghead: But I knew for the next time.

Enjoy your new toasty warm Moho.
PS you do have a C02 detector, just to be on the safe side ?

AuntyAida Welcome to fun. It's great to see a new member helped out, and for them to come back with the final outcome of their problem. Enjoy your travels.

AuntyAida 'in't good when you get super quick answers? I was in the same boat. The handover guy said "to run the fridge on gas, just press this....." It turned out the "just press this" button needed a battery inside the button. I'm glad you were sorted and welcome.
