Eurotunnel to Orange via non toll roads

    Hi,

    Has anyone travelled from Eurotunnel Calais to orange on non toll roads.

    going in September and would like to go via non toll roads.

    Any advice/routes would be most welcome

    yes easy

    Yes it is easy... leave port or terminal follow main auto route (no toll) until exit 30 just before the toll and head on the national route.. round Rouen and keep to the nationals follow the sign posts... suggest you get a good road maps that show toll roads.

    Good roads... easy on traffic... we will be doing our second run on a similar route in September heading South.

    If you have a satnav,just programme avoid tolls,We did this last year coming up from the South of France,so glad we did we saw some wonderful scenary we would otherwise have missed.

    We like the D roads, which show up red on our map. As well as the lovely scenery, you also get a flavour of the French way of life and can stop at boulangeries and so on. ::bigsmile:
