For info - as the FT scheme is still not available on their website I rang to day to see if there are any plans for it to be opened up again as I know many like to use it as it's a heck of a lot cheaper than buying crossings otherwise. The lady told me that they have had no notifications/info at all about it so no idea when it will be resurrected which is a pain.

That’s a pain, we are keen to get across to Europe again soon and much prefer the frequent traveller scheme.

I’ve still got some tickets if you’d like them

Thank you Robert, I didn't like to ask as I didn't want to deprive you the use of them, you're an absolute gem. :*

Their website mentions that they hope to shortly introduce an alternative ticket, which to my mind doesn't seem to be good news. I'm wondering whether or not they are starting to think they are to popular, and need to increase income from frequent travellers.

As an off topic aside, has anyone noticed the number of people using Flexiplus? 'From £249 each way'!!!! Where do they get their money from?

We were told that they were going to do a new version of FT in late summer, which makes business sense, along with FT extension finishing in June. That way people will do their summer crossings paying full price, then introduce the deal during the lower season period. At the moment they must be fed up, with constantly changing peoples crossings.

I wonder if they're going to increase the cost a bit but reduce the minimum number of tickets you have to buy as I guess that now not many want 10 single crossings each year.

One other things that's different, which I hadn't noticed before, is that if you are a FTer you only (!) pay £18 per pet per crossing whereas non FTers pay £22 per crossing.
