Yes your OP was clear, but I think others only read part of the tread as it was so long and thought it was a current offer.

We did as a group try and work out a way of keeping a syndicate going, without all the work being done by Jim. Think we must have run out of steam, or just needed that one bold person to say - I'LL DO IT! And no that wasn't me saying that I would do it!

Too late maybe for this one but perhaps one could be set up for future big or biggish amounts.

the idea of a syndicate is fine, but somebody is left doing the hard work and there needs to be a good degree of trust and agreed rules from the offset

remember if you need loads of lines, then you can only put up to 10 I think on each ticket
