This is being discussed on another forum and I thought it might be useful information for Funsters.

particularly their attitude towards pre-existing medical conditions. Apparently when you speak to them all they ask you is, if they were to phone your GP, he would confirm you are fit to travel.

Thank for this, I would not even looked at their policy, but it may help, I have an annual policy free from Nationwide, but I now take a statin tablet so may not be covered.

Whatever you decide don't forget your e111, at least you are covered for basic treatment, while you sort any insureance

One of the things I checked before switching accounts. Statins are ok.
