I was due to be using the tunnel in two weeks time, to go to the Belgium F1 GP at Spa. 
I had phoned Euro Tunnel a couple of months ago, to cancel the booking, but was told to wait until two weeks before I was due to travel.
Well today I phoned them, and after only about 5 minutes on-hold I got through. I explained that I wanted to cancel and asked what my options were. I was told I could either claim on my Travel Insurance, or else have a Full Refund - including the cost of the Travel Insurance! No prizes for guessing which I chose!
They say the money should be refunded onto my card within 10 working days.
That seems a pretty good service.
We have chosen to transfer the Race Tickets to next year, so now I just have to try and do the same with the Campsite.
