Hello!

Looks like June & I will be taking out European plunge in the middle of May and go touring La Belle Fance & Der Vaterland for 12 weeks or so, taking in such sites as..... umm, well, no real ideas except the Wallensteinfest in Memmingen (Bavaria) in July and August (it's a 17th century week-long festival held every 4 years)

Seafrance seems to be the best (price-wise) for crossing (Dover-Calais & return), but do you know different? Any hints and tips for the euro-novices that may help keep costs down?
