left yesterday for a trip down to either italian lakes or venice
managed to get a earlier train so got to france 1hr30mins earlier nice start
topped up with some juice for the route
all went well got into belguim or maybe best to call it potholes
around 1hr outside luxembourg bomb massive blowout rear tyre managed to smash the underside of the van and all the rear end trim arghhhhhhhhhh
still after a hairy hr changing the bloody wheel spare slung underneath Oh Please! who designed that
off we go again got to a camp in the woods here at lux looks like something from a horror movies as linda said so off again got to another camp krounebierg in mersch and what a delight fantasic camp and just 17e for the 3 of us had a wonderful meal in their restaurant last night and so far all is now well but got to get the wheel and the spare done today spare looks a little worst for wear anyone ever in this region try this camp :thumb:
and btw thanks shuggy diesel was 1.19 around a quid a litre wicked :thumb:

now in germany on way to heidlburg europasim working great started it in lux this morning and now great service in germany wheels all done 2 new tyres and a puncture repair in the now new spare 275e not bad for good dunlop mh tyres tries to have a joke with the fitter but after 3 diff people explaining it was a joke best to just give up

So sorry you had a rocky start. We did those roads 10 days ago and they are not good. Slightly better than 3 years ago when the holes dislodged our water pipe in the bathroom ( which we did not realise until we were going out).

In the old girl we had the clutch went in the Pyreenes and it seemed the end of the world at the time but it got fixed.

bloody germany lol got lost tryin to find the a8 they have loads of road works and have shut some of it grrrrrrrrr aint coming back this way will do swiss instead now at ausberg on a campsite and its rainin still the bar will be dry not a bad site just off the a8 so good for onwards tomorrow 18e for acsi + 80c tax each and then another 6e for the bitch kid ouch lol

On the way to peterborough show// we got up to newtown when one hell of a bang back tyre blow out, i got out to see what the damage was tyre totaled told her who shall be obeyed give the Rac a ring we are on a very fast road and a bend when a gent yes a gent pulled up and said i saw the disabled scooter whats the probelm blow out, he said not probs dont phone ill do it//by the way it was belting with rain//so fair do after getting soaked through he got us on our way he was from liverpool and a scout master driving a fiesta i offered to pay he wouldnt take anything try and do some a favour as i have he said so thank you good sir

now in bella italia lake garda still noit made venice yet the smell of food and booze was to tempting will stay here if the sun stays shinning or will move on again maybe tomorrow the sim is still going now in italy just changed it to Italian setting and fantastic piece of kit must get the underside of the van done on our return where the blowout damaged the underside near the rear wheel arch when i drive in the rain now we have a invasion of water so best not drive in the rain i reckon :thumb:

in lido di jesolo now ao made it here at last on malibu beach camping linda and the bitch kid didnt like the other site i picked (and it was bloody cheaper)but this is good direct onto the beach so this is where we will stay hopefully no acsi here so its 11e for the pitch and 5.50e each person ouch
but its in the sun and its lovely so no problem
