Thinking I now need solar installed. Any recommendations for a supply and fit company in the east, Essex area. I will need advice on best size and controller to leisure batteries as have BM fitted. I don't think I can risk doing it myself... thx in advance..

Where in Essex are you. I'm happy to help you fit your own, I've done a few now, aswell as satellite dishes !!

MisterB, you are a star for offering and very kind of you. TBH I would feel happier having a company do it to get warranties etc and take the hit on install costs..!! Much appreciate your offer though...

Tow bars UK were recommended by the dealer I bought from and not too far. Together with the other install suggestions in this thread i have options, so much appreciate all of you for the suggestions..

Caravan Care at Ardliegh are good they do motorhomes as well. Do you know what you want

I'm SE London
I went to VanBitz

Drive down, stay, for free, on a superb campsite next door.
Next day van into their garage.
Walked into Taunton for the day.
Had solar fitted (and alarms and gas).
Spent another night on the site (and learnt how to use the new toys).
Drive back next day. (For you 200 miles/4 hrs).

We did a National Trust property on the way down and another on the way back.
