Equihen Plage Aire

Just a heads up for anyone thinking of using the aire at Equihen Plage - it is currently being renovated and the parking has been moved to the entrance to the Car Park and is only suitable for 2 x 6m Vans (3 at a squeeze) There wasnt a lot of room to turn round a 25ft Motorhome once down the track to the parking.
Looks like they are installing entry/exit barriers and landscaped parking bays.

Equihen Plage was the first aire we stayed on in 2012 and we were thinking about revisiting on our trip in May this year so we will probably give it a miss.

As I recall it was a great cliff-top aire anyway with easy access via the steps to a nice beach.

It may be finished by May so I wouldnt rule it out. We have only ever used it as a lunch stop before and not stopped overnight so probably wont be using it once its open again.
