Never used this particular model but I've always rated Epson for inkjet printing above other manufacturers.

We have a Photo R200 printer which we bought in 2001 which still works fine and the Stylus Pro 4400 is brilliant - mind you it should be for the price

As said before John great make of printer, I have R300 and its been very good sounds like the RX 685 is a new model of mine. It prints on cds etc cheap to run and keeps working!:thumb:

I've got an Epson Stylus DX8450 Printer, Photo Scanner & Copier.
Great bit of kit easy to set up and use and if you use a decent quality photo paper prints really good photos. Downside it can be a bit expensive on ink if you print a lot of photos but ok once the novelty wears off.
