Hi.
I have EP self levelling legs on my motorhome. I've been doing routine checks and noticed the hydraulic oil level in the holding bottle seems very low. But there is no min or max marks on the bottle for guidance. So I'm not sure if it's at the correct level or not. I have tried to contact EP via email but yet to get a response. I have enclosed a image of bottle and oil level. Can anyone guide me. And let me know if it needs adding to or it ok ?
Thanks Lee

Hi Lee, if your jacks were down at the time your photos were taken then most of the hydraulic oil will have been pumped out of the reservoir into the jack legs.
If the reservoir level in your photos is with the jacks in the retracted position, then the reservoir will need topping up.
Have you seen any indication of hydraulic oil may have been leaking anywhere on your system?

If you do need oil it is:

• Only use transmission oil ‘A’ (Automatic Transmission Fluid - ATF). E&P Hydraulics
recommends ATF with Dexron III or Mercon 5 or a mixture of both. Under freezing point, the
jacks may move slower due to the viscosity of the oil. Under extremely cold weather
conditions, you should use a special type of oil for low temperatures. Consult E&P Hydraulics
or a recognized dealer, before using a different type of oil

As Two on Tour said if that’s the level with the jacks deployed then the level is fine 👍
